This free festival at the Senior Citizen Center in Delhi Township will showcase information about wildflowers from organizations and companies in the region. It will be educational and entertaining for young and old alike.
The Flower a thon is a great opportunity to get out in the forests of southwest Hamilton County and enjoy the spring flowers. It is a fundraiser for Western Wildlife Corridor where you join a team and see how many different species of fruiting flowers and trees you can identify. This will be a how-to program on grant applications, especially tailored for land trusts and related environmental organizations
The program will focus on how your organization can identify best sources for grant funding and prepare the most effective grant applications. We are very pleased to have Kristina Moster, Ph.D., Senior Program Officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, as our expert presenter. With more than ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Kristina works with nonprofit organizations seeking grants from the Foundation in the areas of arts & culture and the environment. She has primary responsibility for the Foundation’s grant evaluation system. Kristina earned her bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg College and master’s degree and Ph.D. from Miami University of Ohio.
