Granny's Garden School

Granny's Garden School uses public school grounds to help students experience nature, the satisfaction of growing their own food and to appreciate the simple pleasure of picking a flower. We collaborate with schools to offer hands-on learning opportunities that compliment the school's curriculum. Through the Schoolyard Nature Network, we guide educators in the innovative and practical conversion of school grounds into sustainable learning environments that encourage critical thinking, problem solving and love for nature. Through the Family Garden Project we guide families in developing vegetable and flower gardens in their backyards using practical, money & time saving methods.
