LEED Tax Abatement for Homes and Commercial Building Projects in Cincinnati
Since 2006,...
The Greater Cincinnati Master Gardener Association (GCMGA) was formed in 1992 as the volunteer internship project of Ralph Jacobsen, a member of the first Master Gardener class in Greater Cincinnati. Ralph saw the need for an organization to help Master Gardeners maintain their learning and volunteering momentum once they had become certified.
As a nonprofit organization, the GCMGA is managed by Board of Directors consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, immediate Past President, and up to 15 at-large directors elected by members of the association. Representatives of OSU (Hamilton County in Ohio) and UK (Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties in Kentucky) Extension serve as non-voting members of the Board.
The GCMGA brings together all Master Gardeners in the region, regardless of the county in which they certified. It provides opportunities to network, attend educational presentations, and just have fun with each other.
