myActions LLC

myActions, the social network for the planet, is a website and mobile site where you record your sustainable actions. The initial idea for myActions came to support a group of high school students who wanted an app that would allow people to tell each other not just where they were, and who they were hanging out with, but what they were doing at that moment to help the planet. Each time you do something good for the environment you can create the action on myActions to share with your friends, earn virtual rewards like our collector cards, and raise real money that is donated to your selected environmental non-profits. Create teams and join leagues to compete against other groups, and share your actions across other social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

Our hope is that by creating actions, our users will learn and be motivated to change their behaviors to be more green—while recruiting their friends to do the same and supporting important environmental non-profits—resulting in a healthier and happier planet!
