Volunteer Opportunities with USGBC Ohio's Leadership Team - USGBC Ohio

Members of each committee will work on a range of activities which include, but may not be limited to, the following: 

Market Leadership Advisory Board (MLAB): A statewide advisory board that sets the overall  strategic goals for the Ohio Community, including programmatic priorities and operating  guidelines.  

Central Ohio Local Leadership Team (Central LLT): In support of the MLAB, the Central LLT  assists the Ohio Community in Columbus and surrounding areas by providing educational  opportunities, information exchange and collaboration on Community programs at the local level  and communicates unique local opportunities to the Community leadership that may inform  strategic planning and priority setting. 

NE Local Leadership Team (NE LLT): In support of the MLAB, the NE LLT assists the Ohio  Community in Cleveland and surrounding areas by providing educational opportunities,  information exchange and collaboration on Community programs at the local level and  communicates unique local opportunities to the Community leadership that may inform strategic  planning and priority setting. 

NW Ohio Local Leadership Team (NW LLT): In support of the MLAB, the NW LLT assists the Ohio  Community in Toledo and surrounding areas by providing educational opportunities, information  exchange and collaboration on Community programs at the local level and communicates unique  local opportunities to the Community leadership that may inform strategic planning and priority  setting. 

SW Ohio Local Leadership Team (SW LLT): In support of the MLAB, the Central LLT assists the  Ohio Community in Cincinnati, Dayton and surrounding regions by providing educational  opportunities, information exchange and collaboration on Community programs at the local level  and communicates unique local opportunities to the Community leadership that may inform  strategic planning and priority setting. 

Advocacy & Service Committee: Works to track pertinent legislation, build relationships  between USGBC and legislators, manages equity-based projects such as Advance, Canstruction,  GADOS, Green Schools, etc. 

Communications Committee: Works on statewide and regional e-blasts, social media, collateral  material, website, etc. 

Development Committee: Works bring in cash and in-kind resources through sponsorship,  membership, partnership, scholarship fund, grants, etc. 

Programs & Education Committee: Works on in-person and virtual educational programming  such as webinars, luncheons, tours, EP events, etc. 

Special Events Committee: Works on regional and statewide in-person and virtual special events  such as MLAB Leadership Days, Regional Conference, Town Hall, Leadership Awards program,  etc.
