Date: Tuesday, February 12, 2019, 7:30 p.m.
Contact: Kani Meyer, telephone 513-307-5284
Kathy McDonald, Chairperson of the Midwest Native Plant Society, will help us plan gardens that will support native birds and pollinators. Kathy has hands-on experience with recreating her own yard from an expanse of grass to one with shrubs, trees, and herbaceous plants that nourish and support local wildlife. Her garden includes pools for amphibians as well. Kathy has experience with nurturing monarch butterflies from egg to adult, and will be glad to share her knowledge and experiences with Lepidoptera. She will inspire all of us with ideas and know-how that we can take home and try for ourselves. This is a great time of the year to plan a garden! http://midwestnativeplants.org/native-plant-information/
