Chefs from 10 of the hottest restaurants in Over the Rhine will transform rescued food into "by-the-bite" creations. Each chef will receive a mystery ingredient from a participating food sponsor a day in advance and throwdown to create a unique dish. Attendees can try all 10 bites (with complimentary Rhinegeist beer pairings) and vote on their favorite. They can also enjoy the Chef Battle which will be live-streamed from Our Daily Bread to Rhinegeist. The event will cap off with the presentation of the winners of the Chef Battle and the Rescued Food Cook-Off.

Drew Bowman (The French Crust) & Stephen Shockley (The Anchor-OTR), will cook-off in a “chopped” style competition in front of a live audience at Our Daily Bread. They will have one hour to make a complete meal using only rescued food. This event will be emceed by Bob Herzog (Local 12) and judged by a celebrity panel including: Chef Jean-Robert de Cavel, Molly Wellman (National bartender-owner of the year 2019), Chef Garland (Our Daily Bread), Heather Johnson (a.k.a. The Food Hussy), Amy Tobin (Q102) and Chef Kellen Smith. Complimentary wine will be provided by Market Wines (Findlay Market) and VIP tickets include admittance to the Main Event at Rhinegeist.
