Ventilated Façade with Porcelain Exterior Cladding

This continuing education presented by Hamilton Parker partner Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola North America explores the definition, description, and origins of the ventilated facade in architecture. The energy savings and technical details of ventilated facades will be discussed, as well as materials, specifically porcelain, and the architectural and structural design. The presenters will also present a case study of 49th Avenue in Long Island City, NY and other built references.
