DESCRIPTION
The Madisonville 5k serves as a fun, healthy way to get involved and support the neighborhood. All proceeds go directly to community building programs and initiatives facilitated by Madisonville Community Urban Redevelopment Corp., a nonprofit community development corporation. Please note, this year the 5k will be carried out virtually. Participants can run the route of their choice, upload results online and see their placement among the community!
Virtual Race:
This year all runners and walkers will run a course of their own choosing, on any day from September 1st - 12th. After completing the race you can come back to runsignup.com and post your results on this page, on the results tab.
If you register by Sunday August 16th - you will receive your shirt and medal before the event begins. If you register after August 16th your SWAG will be mailed week of 9/21)
SWAG:
All runners and walkers will receive a race shirt and a finisher medal with their race registration. These items will be mailed after the event ends (Week of 9/21)
We will post images of the shirt and medal when designs are ready.
Benefit:
Proceeds from the Madisonville 5k support the Madisonville Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (MCURC), a 501c3 whose mission is to advance comprehensive community development efforts in Madisonville.
