Amidst the disruptions to Ohioans’ democratic systems as well as equitable access to clean water, vibrant greenspace and renewable energy future, the Ohio Environmental Council’s mission has never been more important. We are more committed than ever to fight for healthier environments and healthier communities, all across Ohio.
We hope you will join us in this effort as we explore the relationship between environmental justice and democracy at our 2020 Ohio Public Interest Environmental Law Conference! Please mark your calendars for September 24-25, 2020.
This year, the OEC will explore the important theme: At the Crossroads of Environmental Justice and Democracy. We’re excited to explore the intersection of democracy and the environment, giving the opportunity for attendees to understand what it looks like for a government to work for everyone—and in turn, the environment.
This Conference is being offered to both the general public as well as those attorneys seeking continuing legal education (CLE) credit. Virtual conference registration information will be sent in mid-September.
