Have you ever considered growing and supplementing your food but lack a green thumb? Do you have dreams of suburban homesteading but don’t know where to start? Join our Gardener, Jason Kamp, as he shares his ideas on the topic in an indoor talk, as well as provides a guided tour of our very own raised beds, hoop house, and market garden.

This class is great for beginners and will cover basics and ideas on the following:

• Building raised beds
• Creating healthy soil and site preparation (using yard waste you already have!)
• When to plant what vegetable and how including by direct seed or by starts, time of year, and spacing
• Edible landscaping and edible perennials
• Garden tools, weeding, cover cropping, and more!

This informative class will also provide take home information so you can grow your own healthy food!
