If you’ve had second thoughts about throwing away an apple core, this program is for you. Decomposition is part of the natural forest cycle, so we’ll take a short walk to see it in action in a woodland ecosystem and also have an indoor presentation on best home composting practices, including making your own DIY veg scrap container. We will also have one starter backyard composter up for grabs - everyone who signs up for this program will be entered to win, courtesy of Hamilton County R3source.
