Water is crucial to the health of our gardens and our planet. Learn how the right approach to gardening can be sustainable and combat the climate crisis.

We're starting to dig into what we can do in our yards to create a regenerative garden. This class explores how we can conserve water, what we're doing in Cincinnati to mitigate combined sewer overflows, and what to do in your garden to help. This is the second class in a 5 part series: A Gardening Approach to Sustainability.

Kate Cook is the Manager of the Seasonal Retail Garden and Horticulture department at Growing Trade Pet and Plant in Northside. She has contributed to the local agricultural scene for over a decade, as an independent market farmer through the CHEF Initiative at Findlay Market; Market Garden Manager for Carriage House Farm; and as a Certified Master Rain Gardener, specializing in small-space urban gardens and companion planting systems.
