Special Meeting: Climate Environment & Infrastructure

  • May 17, 2022
  • 6:00 PM
  • The Bond Hill Recreation Center - 1501 Elizabeth Pl., Cincinnati, OH 45237

Organization: City of Cincinnati Office of Environment and Sustainability

About this event:

Climate equity and environmental justice are issues that are incredibly important to me as the chair of Cincinnati’s Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Committee. That’s why Meeka Owens is hosting a special committee meeting on May 17th to discuss how changes in the environment impact you and your neighborhoods. If you want to see the data collected about how the climate crisis is impacting your neighborhood, you can review the Climate Equity Indicators report about your community. But this session is about more than data, it’s about engaging directly with YOU about the climate issues you’ve felt and noticed most in your own life.

The special meeting will be at 6:00 PM and hosted at The Bond Hill Recreation Center, 1501 Elizabeth Pl., Cincinnati, OH 45237. It will feature a panel of local experts who work in the climate equity space and give you the chance to speak with them and ask questions. There will also be an opportunity to fill out the City’s Climate Change Survey and provide recommendations for the 2023 Green Cincinnati Plan. The Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Committee will be present so we can learn from your experiences.
