Join Green Umbrella as we dive deeper in our efforts to build an equitable and inclusive environmental movement in our region. On Thursday, January 28 from 10 am-12 pm, we will host, "Preparing for the Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Journey," featuring Robin Wright, Director of Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at StriveTogether. Using a trauma informed theory of grief framework, Robin will help attendees understand the psychological journey toward anti-racism and how to account for it and move with greater compassion and intentionality in their work. We see this workshop as foundational in furthering the work we intend to do in the new year around diversity, equity and inclusion. This event is free for Green Umbrella members and $25 for non-members.
