Sustainability Spotlight

Kick Plastics with Cappy's and SweetWater Brewing!

Cappy’s Wine and Spirits and SweetWater Brewing have teamed up to address the proliferation of plastics in our waste stream with the Kick Plastic Pilsner Party on August 15, from 5:00-10:00 pm at Cappy’s in Loveland. Cappy’s will donate $1 from every pint or glass sold all day to Green Umbrella and SweetWater will match by kicking in $1 for every pint of their beers sold. The event will jump start Cappy’s plans to make their business and community more environmentally sustainable. Beginning August 15, the store will provide bins for patrons to drop their plastic grocery bags and pak tech tops.

Transportation Forum: Reinventing METRO & Proposed Tax Levy

Gourmet Grub for Good is a spirited amateur chef competition to support good in the community! Come and sample the dishes from more than 30 amateur chefs and vote for your favorite.
